You got your Gensomaden Saiyuki in my Fushigi Yuugi!

Saint Beast is two great tastes that taste great together. Even though I couldn't stop giggling during the one and only episode I've seen, it's a very entertaining anime when you have the right background to refer to. Fans Fushigi Yuugi will enjoy seeing the four beast-gods in human form, and fans of Saiyuki will enjoy seeing them act just like our familiar Sanzo-gumi.

The pretty boy factor is huge, as Suzaku (the Gojyo of the group) looks like a girl, and the rest of them are nearly as pretty. Seiryu (Sanzo) has very cool mismatched eyes, and Byakko (Goku) has a group of kittens that do his bidding. (Well, not really. He got scratched.) Genbu (Hakkai) is the calm voice of polite reason, but all of them can kick butt decently.

I'll be tracking down more of this series as I may. The story is interesting so far, and the characters are great, if you like to see anime remixed.
