Name: Got Elf Hair?

A.K.A.: Braided Baka, Braidboy, Bakaneko... hey, what's with all the nicknames with baka in them? O_o;

About GEH: My PSC name stands for "Got Elf Hair?" because I do. I'm firmly in the family oriented anime camp, though I have a soft spot in my heart for war movies and giant robots. There's a huge range of anime out there that's perfect for boys and girls of all ages, from way too cute fairies and angels, through mysteries and histories, to futeristic tapestries of war fought out with deep characters and huge robots. There's something for everyone, and I'll never see it all. *sigh*

I enjoy getting into the action as a cosplayer, mostly because it keeps my minor-league costuming skills from wasting completely away. While watching anime, or most movies, actually, I'm easily distracted by the costumes. I had to mentally scold myself to just watch the Harry Potter movie and stop trying to memorize the details on the Quidditch uniforms the first time I saw it. (There's plenty of time later to pause the DVD and sketch things out at home.) So far, I've cosplayed Duo Maxwell (Gundam Wing), Souma Kyou (Fruits Basket), and Kanzeon Bosatsu (Gensomaden Saiyuki). I have been known to pester stormtroopers in the guise of an X-Wing pilot from the Star Wars movies. I've also recently gotten the title "Combat Seamstress" for wearing my Stargate SG-1 mission gear during a recent dress fitting with LLL.

Though I'm not as educated as some of the other PSC when it comes to seiyuu and voice actors, I am working on my ability to draw. I hope to have a few pieces posted here soon. I also recently sold every piece of art I put in the art show at Otakon 2003, which I found rather encouraging. I'm already planning ahead to enter work at the next local con. Yay, I'm a Con Artist!
