the end of an era... At Otakon this past weekend, I bought the final volume of TokyoPop's Cardcaptor Sakura manga. When I'd finished the last page, I felt unaccountably sad. I knew how it was going to end; I had read the scanlations, and besides, the original Japanese manga had ended years ago. Still, I felt like I was saying goodbye to an old friend. No longer can I happily anticipate the new volume's arrival at Borders; nor will I feel that thrill of joy when I hold the latest volume in my hands. The story has ended, and there is no more.
